An Amis musician plays for us in his hotel.

Eric took us to visit one of his good friends. He was a well-known local Amis artist and musician. He drove to what in America would be regarded as beautiful oceanfront property. There was a hotel built in the shape of a small cruise ship that his friend built with his brother.

It was their own business, which gave tourists an opportunity to get close to the Amis indigenous culture. They displayed their carvings inside their own gallery and had plenty of room for entertainment. Outside they had an Amis traditional outpost and a campfire pit aounrd which local Amis dancers performed. While we were visiting, he served us coffee and a song.
